Ritual is a declaration of love to club culture and an expression of my spiritual needs that are not being met in these pandemic times. A cry for help from my inner hedonist.

The chorus to Ritual already came to me in the summer of 2019, originally with a completely different intention. Due to the psychological challenges that the first Covid lockdown presented me with, I couldn't finalise Ritual until autumn 2020. Now, it was also clear to me that Ritual was the perfect track for these dancefloor-free times.

I decided to release it as a standalone track - in the middle of the second Lockdown. I hope I can give its listeners a reason to make some space in the living room and let themselves fall into a ritualistic flow for ten minutes.
